Week 3 Newsletter

Fingers crossed, Santa brings us some snow to set up our Airbag!

We met with WB this week. Their Grooming and Snowmaking Teams are doing all they can to keep the mountains going due to the slow start to the season. We will continue to be in contact with them this coming week; we are hoping we might be able to get our Airbag running for the second week of Winter Break Camps in January! We will update everyone as soon as we hear!

Trampoline Training Registration

Our Winter Break Camps are available for registration at the link below. These are a great way to get extra coaching at the start of the season.

We particularly suggest athletes planning on attending the Timber Tour or Super Youth Competition register for consecutive days to start building stamina for those events. These events are a long 4 days and take mental and physical toil. Practicing to train for 4 days straight is worthwhile!

Freestyle Friday Information & Registration

The Board had a great planning session on December 6th as we work towards refreshing Freestyle Whistler’s strategic plan that expires this year.

A special shout out to Sheelagh Davis for volunteering to facilitate all our Strategic Planning sessions!

Our goal is to build on our great successes in the last few years to continue developing well-rounded freestyle skiers and foster a love of skiing that will last a lifetime.
