The Park & Pipe Development Team has been designed for athletes in the early Train 2 Train phase of the LTAD. Athletes must be 14** by December 1, 2022. Athletes will compete in slopestyle, big air and halfpipe events at the western Canada Cup, Junior Nationals, and Timber Tour.
The program’s goal is for all athletes to strive for excellence in the Park & Pipe ski disciplines. This will be achieved through on-snow training, water ramps, trampoline, and strength training. All athletes enrolled in the Development Team will work with our coaching staff to produce an individual training plan for the year ahead.
Training during the summer months will be done in a Camp format, 6-day blocks with a day off in the middle. Winter training will primarily be done on weekends with Fridays available. There will be 3 or 4 provincial and national level competitions that will include competition on a Thursday and Friday.
Below is a summary of the training that is available this year. Please note the facility fees are in addition to the program costs which cover coaching fees.
