Freestyle Whistler has everything you need to get ready for the upcoming Winter season of shredding. We have dryland workouts offered through Whistler Sport Legacies designed for growing bodies as well as specific to what skiers need.

Freestyle Whistler also has a number of different acrobatic training options at Whistler Gymnastics and Airhouse from September to November to suit your needs. Scroll below to see all options.

All Winter athletes who are wishing to learn to flip on their skis during the winter are strongly encouraged to attend our fall sessions. This allows coaches to evaluate their acrobatic skills and prepare them for a fun, safe winter of getting upside down!

Trampoline Training @ Whistler Gymnastics Centre

Head down to Whistler Gymnastics Saturday night for 1.5 hours of trampoline, tumbling, foam pit, and parkour fun. This year we will run a 4 week program before Thanksgiving and a 7 Week Program after Thanksgiving until our winter program starts.

This program is designed to get your air senses firing before you head out on the hill on opening day. The focus will be on trick improvement, how to fall/bailing safely and landing techniques.

We will be running 3 different sessions each training day. The Early Session will cater to athletes aged 7 – 9 who are keen skiers and snowboarders who are looking to gain air awareness and have a blast! The Middle Session age group is 10 – 13. The Late Session will be for athletes aged 14 – 17.

No experience in freestyle trampoline is necessary!

Trampoline & Rail Training @ Blackcomb Water Ramps

Head up to Blackcomb Water Ramps Friday, Saturday and Sunday to work on your air skills and slide our PVC rail to prep for winter. In this program, you can drop in on the days that work for you!

Coaches will get you corking and flipping ahead of winter!

As long as it’s not raining, the program will be running! No experience in freestyle trampoline is necessary!

Wednesday AND Fridays nights at Airhouse in Squamish will be a night to throw down with Freestyle Whistler coaches. Athletes can use multiple trampolines and improve at their own rate to get the most out of their upcoming season! In this program, you can drop in on the days that work for you!

No trampoline experience is necessary! Open to athletes who are not in our winter programs.

Freestyle Whistler has partnered with Whistler Sport Legacies for drylands training this fall! Dryland is super important for skiers to stay healthy and strong for all the bumps and jumps throughout the winter!

WHAT      Whistler Sport Legacies youth S&C program is designed for individuals who would like to enhance their overall athleticism, complement their sport-specific skills and build resistance to Injury. 

This program is also for those youth who are looking to feel strong and fit to live a healthy life.

Sessions include:

  • Strength training
  • Agility, Coordination and Balance
  • Functional Movement skills
  • Nutrition workshop
  • Goal Setting
  • Mental Performance workshop

WHY Improve overall strength, endurance, power, agility, flexibility, teamwork, coordination, balance and self-confidence. 

WHO Grade 7 – 9, from all sports, or for those who want to get strong and fit.

WHEN 4:00 – 5:30 pm Monday’s October 16 2023 – March 11, 2024 (18 weeks)

                  No session; Nov. 13 Dec. 25, Jan. 1, & Feb. 19.

COST          $370 for 18 sessions, monthly payment options are available
